Healthcare Leader for Mental Health Service

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the implementation of clinical mental health treatment interventions and education. This role involves strategic guidance, leadership, and supervision to ensure best practice is met across the service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a continuous quality improvement approach to provide strategic guidance on the orientation and induction of new staff in the Mental Health Division.
- Work closely with stakeholders and the leadership team to ensure an integrated approach to the delivery of the orientation program for the division.
- Support the development and utilisation of policies and procedures to enable the smooth implementation of the Early Career Graduation Program.
- Promote the embedding of evidence-based practices, including Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA), informed peer practice supervision within division clinical teams.
- Collaborate with managers and leads to plan and utilise team and all-staff in-service time and quarterly all-staff team time workshops.
- Comply with relevant Federal, NT and Local Government legislation, regulations, permits and by-laws.
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, OT, Nursing or Allied Health is essential.
- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA or AASW depending on discipline is required.
- Exceptional communication skills are necessary to represent stakeholders and establish partnership approaches.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a health-related discipline is required.
- Leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated project management experience to lead reforms and change management processes is essential.
- The ability to lead planning sessions, conduct in-services and workshop training, and reflective practice sessions is necessary.
- Experience in providing training, workshops, and workforce development opportunities to clinical mental health staff is essential.
- Skill and experience in workforce development approaches to clinical mental health staff and multidisciplinary teams are required.
- Strategic communication and relationship management skills are necessary to navigate complex working environments.
- A resilient, flexible, and future-focused leader who maintains boundaries and effectively manages competing priorities is essential.
- Experience in student and/or graduate placement coordination and supervision is highly desirable.
- A passion for youth mental health and interest in improving service provision for young people and families in the Darwin, Palmerston, and Katherine regions is necessary.
HPSS Level 4.2: $108,447.94 per annum + Super + Salary packaging option and 5 weeks annual leave. A vehicle is also included in the package + $6,000 relocation.
