About the Job

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our esteemed client's dynamic healthcare team in Darwin, NT.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients with diverse needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing individualized treatment plans catering to various psychological issues;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care;
  • Offering crisis intervention and support as needed;
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with professional standards;
  • Participating in regular supervision and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
  • Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
  • Experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention, and support in relevant sectors.
