About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist, Return To Work Coordinator to join our team at EML (Employers Mutual Limited). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to workers, employers, and stakeholders.
About You
- You have a strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills.
- You possess exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You maintain sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- You have knowledge of medical terminology and are familiar with workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- You hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Allied Health or a related discipline.
About the Role
- You will be responsible for providing early, timely, and personal service to workers, employers, and stakeholders, while providing an empathetic customer experience through a deep technical specialization in complex claims.
- You will work in an environment where people are passionate about helping others, with a focus on customer service and support to all stakeholders to provide proactive, tailored, timely, and effective management of specialized claims.
- You will assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policy, in accordance with EML procedures, if required.
- You will undertake ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements, payments, and medical expenses.
- You will proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines.
- You will conduct health promotion activities to enhance the injured worker's wellbeing and empower them to participate in their own treatment and recovery.
- You will ensure claims files are accurately and professionally updated on a regular basis.
