About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Return to Work Officer to join our team at GB Global. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized services to workers, employers, and treating health practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and commercial medical expense claims, ensuring timely and accurate risk assessments.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and changes to provide accurate claim advice to our customers.
  • Provide effective and efficient claims administration to ensure injured workers receive fair and accurate compensation.
  • Offer high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders, educating them on the return to work process and legislative requirements.
  • Act as the key decision-maker for allocated claims, facilitating and monitoring cost management strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist employers and workers with completing necessary documentation, educating them on workers' compensation requirements.
Requirements
  • Recent or previous work experience in workers' compensation and/or claims management is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the allied health or job placement industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Return to Work Act and its application is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a team player attitude.
  • Demonstrated high levels of autonomy with a learning mindset.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
