About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Claims Officer to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a personalized and organized claims management service to the SA Community, supporting the return to work process for individuals who have experienced a workplace injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage claims from initial lodgement to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and compliance with legislation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to workers and employers, actively listening and addressing their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Return to Work Specialists and Impairment Benefit Specialists, to ensure seamless claims management.
  • Educate stakeholders on the RTW process, legislative requirements, and initial claims decisions.
  • Proactively manage claims, including booking appointments, drafting letters, and processing invoices in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Recent experience in a customer service-based role, with strong administration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team player attitude.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
