Commercial Pricing Strategist

The Commercial Pricing Strategist is responsible for implementing a pricing excellence framework to increase the long-term value of products and services.

  • Leading commercial strategy and implementation across our full product portfolio while keeping up-to-date on market trends.
  • Supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Identification and mitigation of margin leakage root causes.
  • Examining current sales and marketing approaches and proposing price targets.
  • Review, modeling, implementation, and monitoring of pricing processes.
  • Leading regular commercial steering committees to ensure leadership awareness and input on projects, key decisions, and KPIs.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify insights and prepare forecasting scenarios.
  • Coaching various teams on commercial best practices.
  • Maintenance and management of analytics tools to drive data-driven decision making.

About You

Ideally you will display –

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar commercial role within a large, corporate environment.
  • Strong business analysis skills and experience in data management and analysis.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Economics, and/or Marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing various pricing strategies (including dynamic and value-based pricing).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
