Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Concierge Supervisor to join our team at The Star Sydney. As a key member of our Hotel Department, you will be responsible for leading the Concierge and Bell Desk teams, ensuring seamless guest relations and providing unforgettable experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop the Concierge Team: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Concierge and Bell Desk departments, focusing on promoting excellent guest relations and creating a welcoming environment.
- Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences: Assist guests with special requests, solve problems, and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
- Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and train the Concierge and Bell Desk team, including performance reviews and scheduling management.
- Solve Issues Proactively: Respond to guest feedback and implement changes to prevent reoccurrence.
- Maximize Productivity and Satisfaction: Supervise and provide leadership to the activities of all team members, ensuring maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Create Memorable Experiences: Curate memorable experiences at a 5-star level, providing guests with the best recommendations throughout their journey.
- Leadership Experience: Extensive leadership experience in Hotel or Guest Services environments.
- Knowledge of Sydney: Excellent knowledge of Sydney, tourist attractions, restaurants, theatres, sporting events, harbour cruises, fashion, and retail.
- Presentation and Communication Skills: Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Language Ability: The ability to speak a second language (highly regarded but not essential).
- Interpersonal Skills: Adaptable with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Passion for Guest Experiences: Passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences.
- Competitive Salary: An estimated salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
