At Uber, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our critical line of business handling safety incidents for Australia and New Zealand customers.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around AUD $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team navigating sensitive cases in a fast-paced environment, employing critical thinking and emotional intelligence.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to help employees navigate complex situations.
  • Develop and implement internal operational work streams, including analytics and reporting, quality assurance, training and development, and administration.
  • Provide oversight for escalated requests across safety lines of business, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Your Skills:

  • Strong people management skills, including dispute resolution, training & development, and reporting.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced customer-facing roles with safety support experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
