Senior Leadership Opportunity

About the Role:

Master Builders Solutions Australia is seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead our remote sales organization within the construction industry or related market sectors.

The Business Unit Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and profitability improvement plans, developing market share targets, and maintaining key account relationships within the division's geographical region.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A degree in a construction-related field is desired; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • 15 years of industry experience preferred.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in managing a remote sales organisation within the construction or related market sectors preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of the concrete & UGC industry, including production methods, materials, sales channels, and typical customers preferred.
  • Understanding the concrete construction and construction chemicals businesses, as well as the value drivers within the construction industry, is preferred.
  • Current or previous membership and participation in industry associations, such as the Concrete Institute of Australia (CIA).
  • Recognised person within the industry.
  • Established relationships with key stakeholders within the industry.
  • Business leadership (P&L) experience preferred.
  • Experience with organisational transformations preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Advanced executive selling skills and expertise.
  • Significant leadership and team-building skills.
  • Financial analysis and financial management skills.
