The role of Technical Engineering Manager - Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is an exceptional career opportunity. We are seeking a visionary leader with extensive experience in pre-sales engineering teams in Software as a Service (SaaS) vendors, with a strong emphasis on Unified Collaboration as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS).
This strategic leadership position will be responsible for partnering with the Head of ANZ, ANZ Sales and Channel Leadership, to contribute to business strategy, headcount growth, coverage models, and technical planning.
We are looking for a self-driven experienced leader who can collaborate with the ANZ Solutions Engineering team to remove obstacles and enable them to focus on their priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the ANZ Field and Partner Solutions Engineering team.
- Develop and execute the technical ANZ pre-sales direct and channels/partner strategy.
- Drive the Zoom vision through in-person presentations at key customer and partner-facing events.
- Collaborate with ANZ sales, channel, customer success, and marketing cross-functional partners to build business plans.
- Define and implement zoom partner technical enablement and demand generation events.
- Counsel and mentor both experienced and early-in-career team members.
- Address business, technical, personnel, and customer escalations.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience leading a technical pre-sales direct and channels organization.
- Strong business acumen, presentation skills, and executive presence.
- An understanding of partners' businesses and how Zoom services can enhance their value proposition.
- A deep knowledge of industry competitors, including solution, technology, and product offerings from Microsoft, RingCentral, 8x8, Nice, Cisco Systems, and other vendors.
- A self-motivated, organized, and strategic thinker who can break down complex problems and deliver a cohesive recommendation.
- Typically requires a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree or equivalent.
