Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Zoom Full time
About Us

Zoom is a leading provider of collaboration software, helping people stay connected so they can get more done together.

We're seeking a highly experienced Technical Solutions Engineering Director to lead our Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our ANZ leadership team and drive the technical pre-sales strategy for our direct and channel partners.

As Technical Solutions Engineering Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing the ANZ Field and Partner Solutions Engineering team, setting and executing the technical pre-sales strategy, and driving the Zoom vision through in-person presentations at key customer and partner-facing events.

You'll work closely with cross-functional partners, including sales, channel, customer success, and marketing, to build business plans and define and implement Zoom partner technical enablement and demand generation events.

Your expertise will be critical in handling business, technical, personnel, and customer escalations, as well as coaching and mentoring both experienced and early-in-career team members.

In return, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of around $150,000 per annum, based on your experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience leading a technical pre-sales direct and channels organization. You should have strong business acumen, presentation skills, and executive presence, as well as industry-competitive knowledge of solution, technology, and product offerings from major vendors like Microsoft, RingCentral, and Cisco Systems.

You'll be self-motivated, organized, and a strategic thinker with the ability to break down ambiguous or complex problems and deliver cohesive recommendations. Typically, this role requires a Bachelor of Science (BS) or equivalent degree.

We're committed to creating a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and are driven by a desire to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you
