About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced HR professional to fill a 12-month maternity cover position based in Sydney. Reporting directly to the APAC People Director, you'll be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are met. This includes organizational design, change leadership, talent management, and recommending new HR processes to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with ANZ Managing Director and various teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Cross-Functions) across Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address employee and business needs, focusing on organizational design, change leadership, and talent management.
  • Develop and implement new HR processes as required to drive business growth.
  • Influence business and talent initiatives that support short-term and long-term goals, including high-performance practices and operational excellence.
  • Provide counsel and guidance on complex employee matters.
  • Act as an executive coach for key clients and leaders, promoting leadership values and behaviors.
  • Increase employee engagement and satisfaction through targeted initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in a tech start-up or high-growth company.
  • Knowledge of Snap Inc.'s products and experience designing and deploying HR systems and processes.
  • Core HR domains expertise, including performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Experience influencing executive leadership on talent and employment matters.
  • People data analytics skills and ability to inform decision-making with data.
What We Offer
