
Employment Opportunity Specialist

This role offers the unique opportunity to connect people with intellectual disability to local job opportunities and create sustainable employment matches that benefit both the individual and the business.
You will work closely with participants to understand their goals, address barriers, and develop employment pathways. The key to success lies in building relationships with local employers and identifying job opportunities through networking, cold calling, and business development.
- Build a network of local employers and identify job opportunities for our participants.
- Work one-on-one with participants to understand their needs and develop customized employment plans.
- Match participants to suitable roles and support them through recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.
- Maintain accurate case notes and documentation aligned with contractual standards.
- Meet performance targets related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.
About You:
- Experience in employment services, recruitment, training, or community services is essential.
- A proven track record in sales or target-driven environments is highly valued.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills are crucial in this role.
- Understanding of employer needs and the local labour market is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and in a dispersed team environment is required.
