Employer Partnerships Lead

 

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic professional to lead our Employer Partnerships Team.

  • Develop and execute strategies to engage with employers nationally and source tailored employment opportunities for clients.
  • Educate employers on the value of hiring veterans and their partners.
  • Built strong networks and community relationships to expand reach and impact.
  • Establish program frameworks and business processes to ensure a consistent and professional service is provided to employers, stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists to identify, secure, and nurture employer partnerships across diverse sectors.

This role shapes meaningful employment pathways for veterans and partners by creating long-term, sustainable pathways and transforming how industry connects with veteran talent.

 

Requirements:

  • A collaborative mindset and strong team orientation, with a genuine commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and their families.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, drive results, and self-motivate, especially in dynamic and evolving environments.
  • Confidence in networking and building a strong presence across the Defence and Veteran community, including the ability to educate and influence employers and industry.
  • Depth of experience in business development/stakeholder and customer relationship management, with a strategic approach to creating non-traditional employment pathways.
  • Ability to develop, document and continually improve business processes to enhance the client experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal specialists and external stakeholders.
  • A focus on quality stakeholder/client case management and recordkeeping.
  • Understanding of the ADF environment and its unique sensitivities, ensuring culturally informed engagement.
  • Flexibility to work across broad geographical areas, including intra- and interstate travel.
  • Availability to participate in events and forums outside standard hours, including weekends when required.
