Employment Support Specialist
This role involves providing workplace support to customers with disabilities and working with employers to find flexible solutions.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the challenges faced by customers with disabilities when starting new employment and be able to support both customers and employers while sourcing future vacancies.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support based on individual needs
- Enhance long-term and sustainable employment
- Facilitate training and development opportunities
- Create new employment opportunities
About You:
- You are a people person with strong interpersonal skills
- You have a sales or customer service background and can build trust and rapport with customers and employers
- You possess organisational skills and can manage your time effectively
- You have conflict resolution skills and can handle difficult situations
- You are aware of vulnerabilities to employment and are committed to helping customers overcome these barriers
