About the Role

The Security Services Department at Austin Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Team Leader to oversee shift leaders and security operations, training requirements for the team, and ensure systems and processes are up to date.

A regular day will see you:

  • Overseeing daily security operations
  • Providing leadership direction and support to all security staff
  • Working collaboratively with others across the organisation
  • Providing administrative support, including reviewing CCTV, rostering and attending meetings
  • Driving employee engagement and development, process improvement, quality and risk management

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring with you:

  • Management skills to lead, develop and motivate a team, as well as foster a positive team culture
  • Demonstrated experience in security operations, including CCTV and control systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to prioritise business requirements and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Proven experience in identifying and managing risk
