The Digital Engineering team is focused on building world-class applications and platforms in the cloud and mobile apps, with capabilities and processes that enable our engineers to focus on delivering innovative customer-facing features.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers in designing and delivering complex digital solutions, including provider-facing applications.
- Design and evangelize common API patterns to ensure consistency and ease of use across the organization.
- Drive the adoption, utilization, and satisfaction of digital services, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Support, Professional Services, and Platform teams to oversee budget, roadmaps, timelines, and overall team execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve system design and architecture, data-driven decision-making, and open-source product development.
- Provide guidance and alignment with leadership teams, ensuring a customer-obsessed, trust-driven, and engineering-excellent culture.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven success in leading software development teams, developing individuals, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience designing, building, and managing distributed systems at a global scale.
- 10+ years managing and operating SaaS applications in production environments, including various software architectures.
- Strong technical abilities, including systems design and scale, APIs, and 3rd-party API adoption.
- Experience working in a privacy-first environment and knowledge of best practices in a regulatory setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent combined education and experience.
