Job Title:

Underground Operations Supervisor


As an Underground Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing Bulk Delivery Operations to customers directly from the field site while providing essential support to other sites in the region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing teams, with strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a highly skilled team of MCU Operators;
  • Provide analytical/decision support to Territory manager on continuous improvement plans;
  • Coordinate logistics of raw materials, equipment, and vendors;
  • Ensure operational processes meet Orica standards and customer expectations;
  • Train, Lead and motivate a highly skilled team of MCU Operators;
  • Maintain professional relationships within Orica and with customers;

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven UG Charging experience in an operational leadership role;
  • Strong fault finding and mechanical aptitude essential;
  • Cert IV Trainer Assessor Qualifications (or ability to attain);
  • Qualifications in frontline management and project management (demonstrated);
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite Skills Essential;
