We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead our underground mining team in South Australia.

As a key member of the operations team, you will work closely with the Electrical Superintendent to deliver projects on time and maintain our high standards of safety and quality.

The role is based at a remote mine site on a 2 and 1 roster, with flights, camp accommodation and meals provided.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Undertake project-specific tasks as directed by the Electrical Superintendent.
  • Lead a team of leading hands and electricians.
  • Maintain safety standards on site.
  • Report task status, including forecast outcomes for time, cost, scope and quality.
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications.
  • Evaluate bid specifications, review plans and drawings, and formulate an estimating and pricing strategy.
  • Participate in project planning and auditing activities.

**Requirements:**

  • Great attitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience in safety.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role.
  • Mining Supervisor (S123) desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in project scheduling software.
  • Quality management experience.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Trade certification/AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech.
  • SA Electrical License.
  • High-risk work License (with WP class).
  • Working at Heights (completed in the last 16 months).
  • CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months).
  • Unrestricted C Class Driver's License.
  • White/Blue Construction Card.
