Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to lead daily underground mining operations in Adelaide, South Australia.

This role represents an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily underground mining operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety standards, and quality control.
  • Monitor the performance of workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with mining safety standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard assessments of the underground site.
  • Lead safety meetings and training.
  • Develop work plans and schedules in collaboration with engineers and senior management.
  • Track project milestones, production targets, and resource needs (labour, equipment, materials).
  • Adjust operational plans to deal with unforeseen challenges, such as equipment failure or geological issues.
  • Prepare progress reports for project managers and senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years within similar role experience.
  • Minimum 5 years underground mining experience.
  • Previous experience in Paste fill and Infrastructure Planning.
  • Working at Heights Certificate or ability to obtain one.
  • WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of competency or First class mine managers certificate of competency or the ability to gain one.
  • Current WA C class drivers license.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Non smoking site.
