About the Project

Olympic Dam Mine, operated by the largest mining company in the world, BHP is approximately 550km North-West of Adelaide, mining copper, gold and uranium. As one of the largest contractors on site, you will gain valuable experience to help grow your maintenance career in underground mining.

The Redpath Group is a leading mining contractor with almost 10,000 employees on projects across the globe. We specialise in shaft sinking, mine development, contract mining, raiseboring, underground construction, engineering & technical services, and specialty services in the mining and construction sectors.

With the recent acquisition of RUC Mining, we now operate the largest fleet of Raisedrill & Raisebore machines in Australia. Integrating RUC Mining's expertise with Redpath's established reputation allows us to offer an expanded range of services and enhanced capabilities to our clients. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking talented candidates to be involved in the integration and streamlining of our operations to continue Redpath's development and ability to continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners.

The role involves

  • Grade decline and levels and service work as required,
  • Conduct proactive roadway repairs,
  • Ensure the safe and efficient completion of all tasks as assigned by Supervisor,
  • Ensure machinery used is cleaned and serviced regularly and any mechanical issues or damage is reported immediately.

We are looking for

  • Experience in the operation of graders underground and underground road maintenance machinery
  • Nationally accredited Grader ticket/Licence,
  • Valid manual drivers licence,
  • A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
