Resource Management Specialist

KPMG's Resource Management team plays a vital role in supporting the business to maximize resource efficiency and effectiveness.
The team works closely with stakeholders to match resources with project requirements, ensuring optimal staffing and minimizing delays. As a key member of the Sydney Audit & Assurance team, you will be responsible for driving greater efficiency in resource deployment, ensuring an optimal staffing mix on client engagements, and managing scheduling requests.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Providing business stakeholders with visibility and options for resource capacity and capabilities to enable resource optimization and cross-resourcing.
- Ensuring an optimal staffing mix on client engagements, considering leverage model considerations.
- Managing scheduling requests and providing resourcing solutions to various stakeholders.
- Providing analysis to senior stakeholders on resource management reporting.
- Working with the offshore data entry team to ensure data accuracy with the firm's scheduling tool (Retain).
- Assisting the National Resource Management team in finding suitable internal resources for projects.
- Proactively following up on items that may impact schedule accuracy, including upcoming capacity within the team and forecasted projects awaiting confirmation.
- Identifying upcoming conflicts and suggesting potential alternatives.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, building strong relationships both internally and externally. Your role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, and a positive and proactive attitude.
We are seeking an experienced Resource Consultant to join our growing Audit & Assurance Resource Management team in Sydney. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while working on challenging projects.
In terms of compensation, we offer a salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
