Chain of Responsibility Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Chain of Responsibility Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR) and Chain of Responsibility.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position that will focus on assessing the compliance of transport providers, distribution centers, and stores with Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing an internal audit program to identify risks, report findings, and support operational teams in implementing corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with Chain of Responsibility obligations and NHVR regulatory requirement compliance. Additionally, they will have exposure to the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme, familiarity with internal control concepts, auditing standards, and risk assessment practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an audit program aligned with NHVAS and HVNL requirements.
  • Schedule, prioritize, and conduct audits based on risk and compliance history of transport providers, stores, and distribution centers.
  • Prepare clear, evidence-based audit reports identifying non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Train and upskill the existing audit team in CoR compliance assurance practices.
  • Complete audits efficiently, on time, and cost-effectively.
