Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environment professional to join our team as a Key Member.

This exciting opportunity offers a combination of responsibility, stakeholder engagement and implementation of initiatives. You will be involved in:

  • Delivering HSE Management Systems and initiatives
  • Implementing Regional Action Plans and maintaining Risk Assessments
  • Identifying legal requirements, monitoring and communicating legislative changes and evaluating compliance
  • Supporting effective management decision-making by monitoring HSE performance, analysing trends and making recommendations to management
  • Facilitating Region HSE consultation arrangements, such as Committees and Representatives
  • Undertaking site HSE inspections and audits
  • Maintaining training needs analysis, monitoring completion and delivering training

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma or higher in a Health and Safety related discipline supported by a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence at different levels of an organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on HSE initiatives and undertaking HSE inspections and incident investigations
  • An ability to exercise sound judgement and decisiveness with problem solving
  • Delivering HSE training and presentations
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Auditor qualifications are desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including consultation and negotiation, presentation skills
  • Experience working in a remote team environment is desirable
