The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to lead our Application Delivery Management (ADM) sales efforts. This role involves creating, qualifying, developing, and selling ADM solutions to Federal Government clients. As a consultative sales professional, you will engage both new and existing clients with a focus on business value.
About You:
- Results-driven individual with a track record of over-achievement and new business wins.
- A strong network of client contacts at all levels within the Federal government.
- University or bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in following a sales methodology, territory management, account development, and opportunity management.
- Successful partner engagement experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute a repeatable sales process that leverages domain expertise and trusted advisor status.
- Pipeline creation, qualification, progression, and closure to ensure sufficient coverage of the target.
- Value-based selling to identify key drivers of value for the customer and develop unique value propositions.
- Planning for success through structured, methodical approaches to building and executing annual sales plans.
What We Offer:
As an employee of OpenText, you'll enjoy a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development in a dynamic industry.
