Technical Leader for Agile Operations

About the Position">

We are looking for a seasoned technical leader to manage our team of IT engineers in an agile operations environment. As a key member of our technology services team, you will be responsible for day-to-day management and hands-on assistance to push commitments over the line.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day management of the Engineering team working within an agile operations environment
  • Assisting the team with a hands-on approach to deliver results
  • Thought leadership in researching and solving engineering challenges, deliverables and resolving service requests while driving innovation in cloud-based Platforms-as-a-Service (PaaS)
  • Designing for potential risk and security implications for all technology services developments and solutions
  • Maintaining controls/audit obligations under a SOC compliance framework

For this role, we require:

  • Technical service process standards such as ITIL and/or Agile
  • Experience in a Microsoft environment (Windows server, Active Directory, etc.)
  • A solid working knowledge of cloud IaaS services. AWS is essential, Azure in addition is advantageous
  • A demonstrable understanding of information security concepts and standards (ideally possess a cyber-security certification)
  • A solid background in system administration and engineering (sysadmin roles within Windows Server Linux/X OS environments)

You must demonstrate success in a structured learning environment with either a graduate qualification in computer science/information technology, relevant technical certifications or equivalent experience.
