Lead Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Lead Educator to join our team. As a leader in early childhood education, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging learning programs that ignite curiosity and creativity in children.

The successful candidate will have a strong educational background and proven experience as an Early Childhood Educator or a strong interest in stepping into the role. You will lead a team of educators, mentor and coach staff to achieve excellence in early childhood practice, and drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and innovation.

You will champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in a nurturing and inclusive environment, build strong partnerships with families and the community, and contribute to innovative programs that inspire a lifelong love of learning.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new service from the ground up, driving high-quality educational practice and fostering a collaborative culture where both children and educators thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, and deliver holistic learning programs.
  • Mentor, coach, and support educators to achieve excellence in early childhood practice.
  • Work closely with senior management to uphold compliance and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and innovation.
  • Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the community to support every child's development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Proven experience as an Early Childhood Educator or strong interest in stepping into the role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection training/certificate
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
