Job Opportunity

This role offers support to various departments within the organization, including claims, customer service, and sales & marketing.

The primary responsibilities include opening, sorting, and re pricing claims, responding to customer inquiries, and preparing data for prospects and existing customers.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, especially with medical claims, is preferred.
  • Call center and/or receptionist experience is also preferable.
  • A minimum typing speed of 30 wpm is necessary.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding is also necessary.
  • The ability to effectively interact with patients/customers, understanding their needs for self-respect and dignity, is crucial.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is also required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to take directions from a supervisor/lead as well as work autonomously is essential.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills as necessary is also required.
  • Strong multi-task capabilities are necessary for this position.

This role involves sedentary work, exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
