Job Description

The Business Operations Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting multiple departments within the organization, providing administrative assistance and ensuring seamless operations.

Duties include opening, sorting, and repricing claims in a timely and accurate manner, responding to customer inquiries, and assisting the marketing department by preparing disruption and geo results for prospects and existing customers.

  • Provides administrative support to various departments, including Claims, Customer Service, and Sales & Marketing.
  • Ensures accurate and efficient claim processing, meeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of quality.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and resolves issues in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Supports marketing efforts by preparing data-driven insights and recommendations for business growth.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience in health care, especially with medical claims, preferred.
  • Call center and/or receptionist experience desirable.
  • Strong typing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-9 and CPT coding advantageous.

Work Environment:

This is a sedentary role that requires minimal physical exertion, involving prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
