Financial Reporting Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our team as a Financial Reporting Accountant. This role offers a platform for ongoing development, growth, and progression into higher-level responsibilities over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business units to support decision making, manage financial risks, and contribute to financial reporting, project reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support system and process improvements, with a strong focus on efficiency and data integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Financial Management.
  • At least three years of experience in a financial, accounting, or similar role.
  • CPA, CA or equivalent qualification, or be actively working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and practices.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial systems (experience with TechnologyOne would be highly regarded).
