Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Finance Expert to lead our financial performance and deliver insightful, accurate reporting to inform strategic decision-making.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will drive our financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance functions. They will also manage core operational finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and month-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans to support business strategy
  • Prepare and consolidate regular financial reports
  • Manage cash flow, debt, and taxation requirements
  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end financials
  • Optimise ERP system utilisation and future upgrades
  • Drive cost control initiatives and continuous improvement in finance operations
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
  • Provide clear, strategic financial advice to senior management and the board

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar financial leadership role
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and manage competing deadlines
  • A hands-on, proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement
