The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to oversee all APAC revenue operations and drive performance in terms of gross margin, nights traveled, and cost of sales (COS) as a percentage of revenue. As a key member of our Revenue team, you will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, and operational management to achieve regional growth and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional strategies to drive performance, focusing on gross margin, nights traveled, and COS as a percentage of revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage regional teams to ensure high performance and effective execution of strategies.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all regional operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to regional gross margin, nights traveled, and COS.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with your regional and the HQ team to ensure alignment and effective execution of regional plans.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the region.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation in regional operations.
  • Financial Management: Manage regional budgets and financial performance to achieve profitability targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a general management role, preferably in the travel, hospitality, retail, or automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of driving regional performance and achieving financial targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
