Regional Operations Manager

As a Regional Operations Manager at Carrier, you will lead a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence in NSW, ACT, QLD, NT, and PNG. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day operations, optimising labour and resources, addressing escalated complaints, and taking ownership of revenue and gross margin budgets.

About the Role

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational procedures and systems improvements, representing the company in regulatory matters, and ensuring 100% compliance with preventative maintenance obligations and relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth and efficient delivery of services, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Optimise labour and resources to meet operational demands effectively, driving financial performance and productivity.
  • Address escalated complaints and quality issues promptly, maintaining service excellence and customer loyalty.
  • Take ownership of revenue, gross margin, overheads, and base profit budgets, implementing strategic financial management practices to enhance profitability and productivity.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and efficient budget management, driving the Net Promoter Score (NPS) through strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive growth strategies and expansion opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.
  • Develop effective reporting strategies for monitoring operational performance, formulating comprehensive budgetary plans, and ensuring accurate and timely budget management.
  • Implement workforce planning principles to optimise field performance and resource utilisation, collaborating with other managers and leaders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • A high level of communication skills (oral and written), with exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components, with a strategic thinker approach.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills, with the ability to bridge workforce planning and service delivery despite conflicting priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively inspire and guide the team, empowering others and encouraging participation, resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Flexibility to travel when required, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
