About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Bid Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to manage bids and tenders in the IT consulting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive tender support across multiple locations, ensuring effective collaboration with supporting departments.
  • Manage the full bid process from qualification to completion, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain a central knowledge repository related to tenders, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare and write tailored business documents, capability statements, submissions, and corporate literature that effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Maintain a detailed tender tracking sheet to monitor submitted tenders, outstanding tenders, win ratios, and client outcomes.
  • Develop strong stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with internal and external contacts.
  • Deliver recommendations for continuous improvement in the Bid Management function, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • A deep understanding of the bid process, from opportunity identification to submission and negotiation.
  • Exceptional written communication skills to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills to manage multiple tender processes simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders' requirements and prioritise tasks accordingly.
About the Opportunity

This part-time role offers a unique blend of challenge and flexibility, with the option to work either 3 days per week or 5 days (0.6 FTE). The successful candidate will be based in Melbourne CBD and will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $130,000 - $160,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation (pro-rata).
  • A bonus of 1% of gross profit from successful bids for the first 12 months.
