Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
  • Supporting data integration efforts, connecting disparate data sources seamlessly using batch and real-time streaming processes.
  • Developing data models and schemas to enhance data warehousing solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Utilizing programming skills to automate data workflows, ensuring efficient processing and transformation.
  • Maintaining data quality and integrity through implementation of validation and error handling mechanisms in data pipelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience delivering data pipelines in a business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Technical skills in Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks or Snowflake), data engineering and pipelines (SQL, ETL/ELT, distributed systems), metadata driven data engineering, orchestration services, big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
