We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Betting Service Specialist to join our Darwin team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering client relationships, and providing support through telephone betting services.

Key responsibilities include engaging with customers via phone to facilitate the placement of live bets, resolving inquiries and issues, and adhering to confidentiality requirements for all customer information.

Additionally, the Betting Service Specialist will execute settlement processes to ensure accurate and timely customer payouts, monitor sports events, odds, and results, and collaborate with the Trading team to validate and confirm settlement outcomes.

To excel in this role, applicants should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sports, and a strong understanding of the wagering industry.

Apart from the required skills and qualifications, flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is essential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Telephone Betting: Engage with customers via phone to facilitate the placement of live bets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Adhere to confidentiality requirements for all customer information.
  • Settlement: Execute settlement processes to ensure customer payouts are accurate and timely.
  • Monitor sports events, odds, and results to ensure accurate settlement of markets.
  • Collaborate with the Trading team to validate and confirm settlement outcomes, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with an emphasis on quality service and a customer-first mindset.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of the wagering industry are not essential but desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
  • Ability to use phone betting systems, betting platforms, and tools.
  • Problem-solving skills to address customer issues and settlement discrepancies.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain documentation and reports.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
