Job Overview:

We are seeking a commercially-minded professional to play a key role in supporting the strategic growth and commercial success of our global online sports betting business operating in Australia, the USA, and the UK.

This position requires a strong interest in the gaming and entertainment industry, analytical skills, curiosity about market dynamics, and the ability to collate a broad range of industry data and information into actionable insights.

The successful candidate will directly support commercial negotiations, licensing efforts, regulatory submissions, and commercial decision-making by delivering robust market research, customer analysis, industry benchmarking, and growth forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive research on betting markets, consumer behaviour, and industry activity across home markets (Australia, USA, UK) and expansion targets
  2. Develop models and frameworks to analyse market trends and project revenue growth opportunities
  3. Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis
  4. Review and summarise industry publications, key bulletins, analyst reports, and economic data relevant to sports betting, daily fantasy sports, and iGaming
  5. Assist in compiling evidence and research for licence applications and regulatory submissions
  6. Provide analytical support to the broader commercial team, including performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and ROI analyses
  7. Assist in review and negotiation of key commercial contracts, including reviewing supplier performance, contract renewals, service levels, and costs analysis
  8. Contribute to scenario planning, business casing, and go-to-market strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance, and accounting or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data into short commercial insights
  • Strong research and data collating capabilities with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting or gaming industries and their commercial frameworks
  • Proficiency in data storage and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight, Excel, PowerPoint)
