We are seeking a Behavioural Support Manager to lead our team of experienced practitioners in delivering high-quality client-centred services that empower people with disabilities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Perth, Western Australia office. As the Behavioural Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating a team of behavioural support practitioners to ensure consistent service delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and coordinate a team of behavioural support practitioners to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  2. Develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote positive behaviours and enhance quality of life for clients.
  3. Provide expert guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to build their skills and capabilities.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals, to develop and review client support strategies.
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards governing positive behaviour support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) in providing positive behaviour support to people with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical behaviour support strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards governing positive behaviour support.
  • Registered as a PBS practitioner at a proficient level or above.
