Overview

Role

Team Leader – Disability Support role, supporting the operational management of our North and South Perth Positive Behaviour Support teams. In this role you'll provide guidance and support to Behaviour Support Practitioners, helping them deliver high-quality services aligned with AAA's standards. You'll be backed by our Business Partners and Head of Operations to ensure consistency in practice, clear communication of priorities, and a strong focus on participant outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver high-quality services aligned with AAA standards.
  • Assist with the operational management of the North and South Perth Positive Behaviour Support teams.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners and Head of Operations to ensure consistency in practice, clear communication of priorities, and a strong focus on participant outcomes.
  • Travel across regions as required to support service delivery.
What we're looking for / Qualifications
  • Experience with clinical supervision; willingness to work across regions and regular travel.
  • Strong operational skills with demonstrated experience in managing and supporting high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a high professional standard in a collaborative leadership environment.
  • Comfortable supporting the BSP team operationally (with training and support) and clinically to achieve role requirements.
Qualifications
  • Current suitability at the Proficient or Advanced level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner is essential.
  • Considerable experience providing support to people with behaviours of concern (professionally and/or personally).
  • Substantial experience in the provision of positive behaviour supports.
  • Ability to demonstrate up-to-date evidence-based clinical skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
