Empowering People with Disability: A Leadership Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced leader who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disability. As the Team Lead Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will lead a team of behaviour support practitioners to deliver high-quality, client-centred services that promote independence, social inclusion, and quality of life.

About the Job:

Manage and coordinate a team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to ensure consistent service delivery.

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of client-specific behaviour support plans.
  2. Provide expert guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review client support strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, or a related allied health discipline.
  • Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) in providing positive behaviour support to people with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
