Lifestyle Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Lifestyle Assistant. This role will play a vital part in delivering exceptional services to clients within the community and in our 32 aged care residences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an engaging leisure and lifestyle program that focuses on wellness, promoting physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological wellness among residents.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and their families through effective communication and empathy.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality care and support to clients.
  • Utilize initiative and work under pressure to ensure the smooth operation of programs and activities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III/IV in Leisure & Lifestyle (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding.
  • Positive and proactive approach to working collaboratively within a team and the broader community.
  • Ability to use initiative and work under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Sound understanding of person-focused care.
  • Knowledge and ability to run a memory support program.
