Job Overview

At our organization, we are committed to fostering an environment that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive. We're seeking a highly skilled Contracts Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of the E-7A Wedgetail Sustainment Program, you will be responsible for managing contracts and delivering commercial support to our business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and oversee vital commercial arrangements in support of the sustainment and advancement of the E-7A Airborne Early Warning & Control capability.
  • Manage contract artefacts, including drafting, negotiating, and supporting scope growth opportunities.
  • Deliver comprehensive commercial support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer objectives and expectations are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial contracting and/or complex procurement subcontracting, with a background in contract/commercial management or complex procurement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Business/Commerce) from a recognised institution is highly desirable.
