Job Title: Strategic HR Partner

We are seeking a skilled HR generalist to drive engagement, retention, and performance in our organization.

This role involves partnering closely with field management teams to deliver impactful HR solutions, championing a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and supporting team members to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a high-performing work environment through coaching and support for field management.
  • Develop and lead initiatives across employee experience, recognition, wellbeing, and development.
  • Analyze and scope projects that improve the employee lifecycle.
  • Provide expert advice on employment relations, performance, grievances, and policy.
  • Inform strategic decisions using HR data and insights.
  • Champion internal mobility and talent identification across the retail network.
  • Stay informed about employment trends to ensure compliance and strategy alignment.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR and Talent Development teams.
About You:
  • Proven experience as an HR generalist, ideally in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, awards, and HR lifecycle processes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to manage competing priorities with a positive and proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field.
  • Project management capability and a genuine passion for people.
