Your Role- On-board clients, open accounts, and administer daily client portfolio maintenance tasks.
- Manage settlement obligations, including funds and/or securities due, margin calls, asset transfers, cash transfers, corporate action management, order execution, and quote requests as needed.
Liaise with Operations to coordinate cash and stock transfers, corporate actions, and international trading activities.
- Support clients by researching routine problems and answering queries, identifying errors, listening to client needs, and initiating corrections with approval.
- Prepare information for Investment Advisers before meetings, follow up after meetings, and update as necessary.
Regularly liaise with clients, Advisers, and internal departments, ensuring proactive client management for annual reviews, risk profile updates, and expiring documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, photocopying, filing, management, and general clerical duties.
- Maintain client files within Avaloq, ensuring updates are managed with clients and Operations, and maintaining manual records as required.
Provide telephone assistance to Investment Advisers, answering incoming calls and taking messages.
- Manage and report on Investment Adviser service delivery, including compliance with portfolio mandates.
- Assist Investment Advisers with investment proposal preparation, new pitch documents, review documents, and other tasks as required.
Coordinate client functions and marketing events with Business Managers and Event Managers.
Your ProfileA minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the Wealth Management sector or a proven aptitude to learn new skills is desired.
- Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Client experience is advantageous.
- Degree qualified in Finance or related disciplines is desirable.
- RG146 accreditation or equivalent is preferred, or willingness to quickly work towards obtaining this qualification.
- Level 1 & Level 2 Derivatives accreditation is seen as an advantage.
