Chief Estimator Job Description

This role involves supervising a subgroup of estimators to ensure continuity of work with current clients, acquisition of new contracts and clients, and the generation of planned revenue and overhead contributions.

  • Partner with regional General Managers to support sales targets and ensure best use of estimating resources.
  • Manage proposal development from request to proposal submittal.
  • Develop conceptual estimates for preconstruction efforts and client engagement.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in industrial construction market involving proposal development or project execution in a self-perform environment. Emphasis on piping estimation is a plus. The candidate should be familiar with guaranteed maximum and lump sum competitive bid environments.
