Structural Engineering Expertise Required

We are seeking a highly skilled structural engineering professional to fill a critical role in our organization. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to survey and evaluate existing structures, prepare comprehensive inspection reports, and effectively communicate assessment results to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough surveys and evaluations of existing structures to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings and recommendations for clients.
  • Communicate with clients and project personnel to provide updates and guidance on assessments and follow-up plans.
  • Provide technical sales support to enhance customer relationships and secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical advice and resolve complex issues related to concrete construction, repair, and restoration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is considered an asset.
  • At least 7 years of experience in concrete construction, repair, and restoration, including forensic investigation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing forensic and restoration engineering duties on existing parking structures.

Working Conditions:

  • Regular travel, including fieldwork and office-based tasks, based in the Charlotte, NC territory.
