We are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team at McKenzie Group in Brisbane. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing technical processes, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and supporting project assessments.
- You will assess project documentation and liaise with clients to ensure compliance with the Building Act, Regulation, and Building Code of Australia for building permit issuance.
- You will manage documentation including accurate and timely completion of job files and office systems.
- You will prepare technical reports on compliance requirements and project recommendations.
- You will communicate with authorities and councils regarding requests for information promptly and accurately.
- You must have undertaken or recently completed a University degree or equivalent formal qualification in construction recognized by AIBS/RICS.
- You should possess technical competence appropriate for a Graduate Building Surveyor role.
- You should be able to manage your workload effectively.
- You should have accuracy and timeliness in checking documentation.
- You should be capable of completing assigned tasks with consultation and approval from Senior Building Surveyor.
