We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to fill the role of Graduate Building Surveyor. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to manage workload effectively and maintain high attention to detail.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or equivalent in construction to join our team as a Graduate Building Surveyor. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining technical processes to assess and review projects, assisting managers, and overseeing operational management of quality health safety and environmental (QHSE) systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess project documentation and liaise with clients to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and governing bodies.
- Manage documentation to ensure job files and office systems are completed accurately and promptly.
- Prepare technical reports on compliance requirements and recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with authorities and councils.
- Assist the business unit team with daily project management and assessment.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A university degree or equivalent in construction recognized by AIBS/RICS.
- Technical competence suitable for a Graduate Building Surveyor role.
- The ability to manage workload effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Initiative to improve processes and procedures.
