Case Manager Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an individual passionate about supporting children and young people in care. The team operates with a positive outlook, working collaboratively to generate the best possible outcomes.

Anglicare Victoria provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. We play a vital role in protecting children and young people by ensuring they have a safe, stable and nurturing environment while their family cannot provide this.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role involve advocating for children in placements, attending care team meetings and completing administrative tasks. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure children and young people in foster care receive stable, long-term care.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Providing children & young people with foster care placements that support their development & maintain safety.
- Engaging with volunteer carers to set them up for success.
- Delivering case management to children and young people in foster care placements.
- Demonstrating a passion for working with children and young people.
- Working collaboratively with other services providers.
- Being highly organized with the ability to manage competing administrative tasks, home visits and phone calls.
