Job Title: Business Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement territory plans that align with the company's strategies and local market focus areas.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within account bases and geographical territories.
  • Maintain relationships, agreements, forecasting, and pipeline activities for a set of accounts within designated territories.
  • Align and coordinate cross-functional teams to complete prioritized business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior field-based colleagues and business unit partners to develop business/partnership frameworks.
  • Assist in articulating business terms and conditions of commercial supply agreements.
  • Coordinate support to fulfill client needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any life science field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Molecular, Protein, and Cell Biology, and ideally Biosciences product offering.
  • Ability to work well in an international team and matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong writing, articulating, and listening skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
  • Infrequent travel required (up to 20%).
